A little bit about us

Dare Boutique has been offering unique, high quality and affordable ladies fashion in Kirkburton since 2008 with its original founders Jo & Steven.
Fast forward to July 2024 and that’s when I (Charlotte) took over the boutique…

I had worked in Fashion Retail for 17 years before taking over Dare Boutique. I worked in buying and merchandising teams for some well known UK brands as well as Australia's largest women’s clothing retailer, based at their head office in Sydney.
I met my now husband in Australia but after a few years we wanted to relocate back home to start a family ... so here we are, back in sunny Huddersfield! I always knew I wanted to have my own little boutique one day and feel extremely lucky that after having our 2 gorgeous girls I was in a position to go for it.

And then Dare Boutique came along!

The boutique was already well established thanks to its original owners so hopefully I can continue it's success! I have kept the core product offering and some of the brands customers know and love as before, but naturally I wanted to evolve Dare Boutique with some new styling, product ranges and brands. This is going really well and we now have a great mix of product for a wide range of customer demographics and for every occasion (casual weekend wear through to some beautiful occasionwear).

My favourite aspect of owning Dare Boutique is all of our lovely customer's. I really feel like we're building a community with loyal customers who shop with us regularly - both in store and online. There's no better feeling than finding someone the perfect outfit which they look AND feel amazing in and to see them leave the shop with a big smile on their face!
